What Google Myths?

On December 27, 2006, Ionut Alex.Chitu over at the unofficial Google Operating System blog addressed what he calls "Google Myths."

"I've heard many inaccurate things about Google this year, and most of them are spread by word of mouth," he wrote. "Maybe Google should do a better job at explaining things that may seem trivial to computer experts, but difficult understand for other people."

It's as simple as that, sir. You can't take anything for granted when it comes to how information is disseminated and digested. Forget the A-listers, it's the common people you want to understand what you are doing.

LAist's 10 Questions With Jason Goldberg

Jason Goldberg, who "for the last three-and-a-half years " was "Blogger Product Manager" at Google, is the subject of an interview in LAist. Goldberg left the company August 25, 2006, "just as Blogger Beta had launched," according to LAist.

WSJ: 'Web Firms Face Grilling on China'

Amy Schatz of The Wall Street Journal reported February 11, 2006 that, "Executives from Google Inc. and other Internet companies head to Capitol Hill next week, where they will become feature players in an awkward debate: Are U.S. companies giving in to China too easily?"

BBC News: 'Chinese Bloggers Debate Google'

BBC News noted January 26, 2006 that, "Google's decision to launch a censored version of its search engine in China has drawn opprobrium from many bloggers around the world."
