Joe Wilcox’s Last Day at eWEEK and the Apple Watch Blog

Today is Apple Watch blogger Joe Wilcox’s last day as an eWEEK editor. See “Thank You and Goodbye.” This is partly what he had to say about it:

image The recession has caused many casualties. Good companies are gone, and talented people are jobless. I've written about many of these casualties. There is just one more story to tell.

Today is my last day as an eWEEK editor. In a few hours I will join the swelling ranks of journalists smitten by the economic crisis and by changes the Internet is forcing on my profession.

Joe adds: “I've been reporting about Apple since 1999 and semi-regularly blogging about the company since May 2003. I took over Apple Watch in April 2008. It has been a joy to write this blog, and I want to thank regular readers for their commitment. The Mac community is vibrant and sassy, as can be seen in the blog's comments. You have taken me to task many times. Good for you.”

And good luck to you, Joe. I was one of your regular readers.
