Are Filipinos Taking Over The Blogosphere?

Filipino blogger Joey Alarilla notes in a January 1, 2006, post at Babble Machine, a CNet Asia blog: "Blogging is big in the Philippines, and it's going to become even more popular in 2007."

"Want proof?" he asked. "Not only are more Filipinos blogging, but recently they've been taking over the reins of a number of international blog sites, including The Blog Herald."
