Recommended: Congresspedia, "a collaborative project of the Center for Media and Democracy and the Sunlight Foundation ... designed to shine more light on the workings of the U.S. Congress."

"Founded in January 2006," Congresspedia "is part of SourceWatch, a collaboratively-written, wiki-based website documenting the people, organizations and issues shaping the public agenda."

In addition to Congresspedia, the Sunlight Foundation's blogs are highly recommended. I really like Dollarocracy, which explores "the often mysterious workings of Washington, DC through the lens of money in politics." However, I've bookmarked all the blogs. I think they will be highly perused during the 2006 elections as citizens try to determine what their Senators and Representatives have been up to in Washington.
