Is Blogging a Business?

On February 16, 2006, Slate, a Washingtonpost.Newsweek Interactive Co. LLC publication, ran an article by Moneybox" columnist, Daniel Gross headlined "Twilight of the Blogs: Are they over as a business?"

I found it very informative. However, I have a question of my own: Is blogging a business? I think not for most bloggers, but it can be. Whether bloggers will make much money is another story.

I think for most bloggers, blogging is itself its own reward. Any money that comes in is an added bonus.

I'm talking, of course, of bloggers who do it as a hobby. Serious bloggers...i don't trust them ;)

Lohan, moral judgments are ok at The Blogging Journalist. Thanks for the feedback.

Indeed, we live in a capitalist society, and evrything has a price, if you do art seriously [and fulltime] it becomes a profession and a business in the end[I'm not making moral judjements here].
When it comes to serious blogging, it too can become a business. If you decide to do something as a profession/fulltime job it needs to be marketable. Which is really good! :)
